MedTalk

Why MedTalk exists

The people who most need help understanding their medicines are often the people with the least time, support, or confidence to ask about them. MedTalk exists to close that gap — to help anyone turn everyday talk about their medicines, conditions, and symptoms into clear questions worth raising with a pharmacist or doctor.

It's built first for older adults managing several medicines and the family caregivers who help them — and for the pharmacists and clinicians who receive a clearer, calmer summary before a visit. It is deliberately not a diagnostic or treatment tool.

What we hold to

Where we hope to go

Our aspiration — not yet something we offer

Good guidance about medicines shouldn't depend on where you live or what you can pay. We hope to make MedTalk free for people in under-served places where a pharmacist or doctor isn't easy to reach — and to support it in many more languages.

In that future, a trained volunteer or community health worker could sit with someone, let them describe their medicines and symptoms in their own words, and come away with a clear, shareable summary that helps them get to care. MedTalk would be a way to reach a clinician — never a replacement for one.

This is a direction we're working toward and being careful about, not a service available today. We'd rather move slowly and keep the promise than over-claim.

Not medical advice. MedTalk helps you prepare points to discuss with your pharmacist or doctor — it never tells you to start, stop, or change a medicine, and it never diagnoses. Always confirm with a licensed clinician.
